VARNA
Varna is one of the most interesting and impressive cities in Bulgaria. It is the third largest city in Bulgaria and the third in population after Sofia and Plovdiv. The city is situated at the end of the big Varna Bay with convenient and well conserved water area. Varna lies
on the same latitude as the famous Atlantic resorts Bayonne and Piarriz
in France, on a large, flat and high terrace. During the summer season the city is full of tourist. The sea
is amazingly calm and free of dangerous tides. Apart from being a beach
resort, Varna rivals the great cites of Sofia and Plovdiv, in its
offering of cultural attraction and historical buildings, museums and
art galleries. Varna is a city of old culture, living traditions and ambitious undertakings. The city is “around the year” holiday destination. Bulgaria has more than 30 towns’ villages on the Black Sea coast
which have resorts facilities and offer various accommodations, bars,
restaurants and attractions for the holiday makers. Some of the best sea resorts are situated near the city of Varna. They are quite big and well developed, having international popularity such as Sunny Beach, Golden Sands, Albena, St. Constantine and Elana, Riviera and other.
